    I have captured a VHS to an mpeg2 file, but unfortunately in mono, so now I only have audio on the left channel.
    Is there an easy way to get the audio to both channels in the mpeg2 file(without extracting audio, editing and merging back to mpeg2)?

    I found I had to extract the audio, put it through Goldwave and copy the left channel onto the right channel and then remux. It worked pretty good, and it didn't take all that long.
