  1. Hi Baldrick and every one else
I`v been using your `How to convert WAV/MPA/MP3 audio to AC3(DD) using Besweet` guide and I like it very mach, its helpful understandable and easy to follow so good one there.

Now I have a question about wav2ac3 process and I thought that you maybe know the answer for what's bugging me for days now

I'm using your guide for making DVD-Video with AC3 audio stream, and it works fine with all AC3 files that has 5.1-6ch but I have a problem with the stereo AC3 ones…
First i`m making an AC3 file out of a large stereo WAV file, then I muliplex it with MPG file (using bbmpeg) and last check the file for compatibility on monitor and burn it with nero6 .
The problem is that I can't hear the sound when I'm playing disc on my DVD player.. although it played very nicly on comuter screen
I can only hear the audio when its 5-6ch AC file..
How can u explain that? I used the same way to create all files..
I`v tried this thing with about four movies and all ac3 stereo won't work…
Tried playing movie in other DVD player to check if it's my players fault but none of them worked on other players (but the 6ch did…)
Now I've also noted that " Besweet with ac3enc does NOT create 100 % compliant ac3 audio files. It doesn't work on some Pioneer players for example."
So its not the case here since I have a different brand and the other files I've created works fine.

Is it my mistake? Or is there another way for making ac3 stereo file ?
should i use different settings in Besweet ?
    Please help me out here.

    thanks a lot.

I had the same problem with BeSweet and I switched to FFMPEG. It's free too, check the TOOLS section. It's about as easy and straightforward as it gets.
    Try it out!

They use the same AC3 encoder. But, some folks like it more....
