Who or what company hosts your 'homepage'?...a public company like Yahoo, or web-hosting company like Powweb, or do use your own server?
Easy method: Google.com and FreeFind.com offer a search service that points to your homepage.
Other methods include installing a search engine program (executable binary files, and/or script files) onto the server machine that serves your homepage to the web. Low cost examples are: htDig, PhpDig, mnoGoSearch.

Is that good? -
Sorry...what I meant was that if someone comes to my homepage, and say my homepage is about cars, I want to be able to have a little mini search engine ON my page so they can enter something like "Toyota" and it will bring them to that page...
