  1. WHEN SETTING UP THE SOURCE FILE PART IN VIDEO (YOU HAVE TO BROWSE TO GET TO YOR FILE) wHAT KING OF FILE DOES IT SUPPORT? AVI,MPEG...?mY FILE (RESOLTING FROM FRAME SERVING ) IS A .d2v
AND i CANT GET IT ACCEPTED,i KEEP GETTING AN ERROR MSG, CANT USE....
    FOR ENCODING.
ANYBODY KNOWS AND IF I HAVE TO CONVERT MY ,D2V ONTO AN OTHER KING OF FILE CAN YOU RECOMMAND A PROGRAM.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR TAKING THE TIME ! !;)
UPDATE: I managed to produce avi files whit my DVD2avi and the source (in source file) after browsing accepts the avi files, any file labeled avi!?%$
NOW a new problem has occured, before, after frame serving I would get in my folder all the transformed files pls a main file for the audio: "ac3-01t....mp3" and a video file contaning all the video material for incoding,it was a main file called "title.d2v" the one the encoder could not read .Now all my files are avi files and are compatible whit the encoder but there is no main file, just all the individual files but now in avi format. What did I do wrong and/or what
    is there to do???

For a better explanation see NOTE in replies

  2. Note: In regards of the answers I get I think
Maybe my message is not clear. I will try to simplify it:

Before: decrypting (get files types vts_6_01,02,03…..).
Frame serving: (same files as above )
Plus 2 important one: one audio file (title ac3…..mp3).
And one video file (title.d2v). It is those 2 files I would put in
Video and audio source (after browsing)
    Then encode whit TEMPGenc program
The results where not so good !
    Now: decrypting (files vts_6_01,02,….)
Frame serving: using the same program but saving as avi files
(same files vts_06 _01,02,…+files “title.avi “and one audio
file ac3….mp3 but no video file avi, so when browsing for a
video source I have none to pick up? ?
I need avi type of files to encode whit Panasonic 2&1 encoder.
What am I doing wrong or what should I do
    I am lost ! ? ! ?
