ive been using tmpgenc to convert my xvid tv episodes to vcd mpg, by just throwing them into the wizard, making sure to use the same frame rate, when i author them usually with either vcd gear or nero as vcd's they seem to suffer from dropped frames, ( being my best guess as to the the problem i get with play back). the only way ive been able to get around this is to author using nero vision express which takes way to long
is there any thing i can do to correct this in tmpgenc???

I believe you are not dropping frames, which usually happens only during capture. I believe you have "jerky playback" which is more common with encoding. Try using different field orders, to see if it helps.
