How to split VCD .dat file....

Hi people, I like to know how can I split a single VCD .dat file into multiple .mpg files? I am using vcdgear to convert .dat into .mpg files. That works perfectly but how about a VCD that is in PBC format? I only see one single file about 500+ MB in size. By the way, this is a concert karaoke VCD and I only want certain clips of it.

id normally extract the dat to and mpeg file using vcdgear, and then use tmpgenc to cut the file up using its mpeg tools under its file menu

No need to convert .DAT to .MPG,TMPGEnc accepts and converts DAT files with Merge & Cut tool.
