I installed an ADS Pyro 1394 card, but then Internet Explorer wont work.
If I shut down and remove the card, run system restore it works again.
Anyone else have this prob?

do you really mean your networking doesnt work ?
if so -- try putting the firewire or network card in another slot .."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
WinMe and WinXP have a function to network PC's over firewire. Internet explorer is probably trying to use the wrong network adapter.
Put your card back in and then check network properties. Has anything changed? -
Go into your Windows hardware setup (Control Panel, System, Device Manager) and see what drivers have been installed for the card. If there is a 1394 driver installed under Network Adapters, disable it. Don't remove it, since Windows may try to reinstall it next time you boot up. You should only have a driver for 1394 card under the "IEEE 1394 Bus host controller" categoryOriginally Posted by mrbmp
