VB6 and DirectShow Examples Required!!

I'm such a newbie in microsoft's directx technology and i wish to learn something about direct show. Does anyone here has any examples that i might refer to? I tried microsoft.com but no luck at all...Please help!

thank you all for the replies. I'm using vb6 and i'm wondering if anyone knows how to mute the vocals in a karaoke song using directshow?
I've check some of the resources, sadly most of it teaches you how to use it in VC++ and i know how to create simple play , load, pause, and stop functions with directshow. Now i wish to set the sound channel to left or right just like mci...

Leave that vb6 and go with vc++. I did that and I feel like if god opened my eyes.
