Hi, all.
I have a music show in Divx here and I hate when I have to look for the parts that I want to watch by searching manually.
Is it possible to put chapters without cutting the video into pieces? I use BsPlayer to see my videos, but I could change the software in case I find some able to do that.
Thanks everyone for helping (or just trying to)

Try the successor to PowerDivx NextGen player, which is called The Core Media Player. I think it supports making chapters and bookmarks for Divx/AVI files. Really, I suppose you would make a text file with special syntax to tell the player where the "chapters" of your video file are.

Hi, Pete.
Thank you so much for beeing the only one to help me.
I tried the software you told me and I didn't like it so much. Actually, it has a HUGE potential, but it unfortunately has boring bugs. Althought it has many options, I couldn't find simple things like "open subtitle", for instance.
I'm sure it will be one of the best options for watching divx files when it's done.
Besides that, I've just found a better way of doing what I wanted to: there's a software called Chapmaker and it works very well. It does exactly what I wanted to do: it makes a text file (with .chf extension) that you put in the same folder of the movie (with the same name) and then, BsPlayer recognizes the chapters you made. It also imports the chapters from .ifo files from DVD. It rox a lot.
Well, here is the tip. I hope I could help other people with the same problem I had with this information.
Thanks again.
Eduardo Macedo.
PS: Visit the official (and slow :P ) site of the software by the following address:

You're equally welcome...
I'm not familiar with BSPlayer related tools, but I'm glad it works for other people.
I guess an unofficial standard of enhanced playback of Divx/AVI files is called "MicroDVD", which I think is compatible with several players software.
I also found Chapmaker and MicroDVD stuff on the Divx-Digest site.
