  1. I did a similar post where I asked which do you think is going to be future standard but now I ask which do you like to use the best? ive expermented with both and I actully like + a lot better, ive had serval - disks mess up on me or dodgy writes, + has never caused me a problem also they look cleaner and crisper afterwards and nicer to look at when Ive put a label on them..... Ive used to - to record an entire american run of a popular american sitcom from my videos becuase I need 60+ disc and it was cheaper route but now I think im always going to use + .. whats you view?

In the case of dual burners it's not so much the + or - but more likely the fact that certain media may work better with you writer. If you've had trouble with - then try another brand not just the name on the box but a different media id. The same would be true if the problem was with +.
With standalone players the above could also be true but in some cases + or - could matter especially with older generation players.

I've had some issues with - and my burner but they were firmware/ brand related. I've had issues with +rw but that was standalone player related. My player needed +rw to be set to book type dvd-rom. Once I got past the burner/media problems, the -R worked fine on the same player.

You should use whatever works best for you.
