I have VideoStudio 7 and authored a DVD where the audio/video sync is off. The source was a mpeg2 clip captured from my ATI AIW 128 pro at 352x480, 29.96 fps, 2451bit rate, mpeg audio, 44.1, 256. The clip plays perfectly. It does have dropped frames. When I use VideoStudio 7 to create the DVD I specifically specified the correct settings so it would not reencode. Now the DVD has an audio sync problem. Any ideas?

could ba a number of things, but noticed you said your audio was 44.1... dvd audio needs to be 48.
