Why does MIRC take up so much room? I have always wondered this, and I have never heard or read of anyone else asking this question. This sort of leads me to believe that maybe this problem is just on my computer. I just removed some programs, and MIRC is currently taking up 3,469mbs. Is this ridiculous or what? If any of you are familiar with this scenario, can you tell me, is this normal? And all of you that have never heard of or had this problem, what are you doing that I am not? Oh, and in case your wondering, I have this problem even when I don't have anything in my downloads folder, so its not the files that I am downloading. Someone out there, help me to understand this shit! I sure can use the hard drive space!
Peace,

why dont you look through the various folders within the mirc directory and see whats taking up the space? mirc doesnt take up but a few mb on my computer..
a note for next time, put it in the computer forum or i'll have hardcoreruss wax your ass passage -
There may be some large hidden files in your download folder you aren't aware of. Try telling windows to show all files (open any folder/tools/folder options/view/show hidden files and folders.
Mirc shouldn't take up much space at all. -
if you have received dcc files that you never deleted or your logs are taking up huge amounts of room, only 2 things i can think of.
