thats the thing its not just the pc it does it on it also does it once its been burned its baiscally like a dodgy cameraman to behonest as it seems to go slightly jerky when the camera moves in a scene.my computer has 512mb ram,80gb hard drive.surely that should be enough?????

is the camera movement quick? What were the setting used in Tmpeg? Did you you a CBR or VBR. Maybe the bitrate when the movment comes is not high enough. How long is you total movie?

I agree that your computer should be more than adequate. Can you please update your profile to show your computer details.
In adition to cdcox's questions, what is the format of your audio? -

Try Cinema Craft Encoder (CCE) or Main Concept -> most people here will argue for either CCE or TMPGEnc but I've found Main Concept to be really good (very fast and easy to use). -

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest that your audio is not spec. If it is VCD, then it needs to be 44.1 kHz. If it is for DVD, then 48 kHz.

the problem is it does it without the audio even being put onto it.i tried encoding without audio and it still did this jerky movement when it came to camera moving scenes.HELP!!!!!!
