I am hoping that someone may be able to help me here. I use a program called "Snagit" for capturing pictures from the internet and other places and many times need to email them or use them in forums as a post. Most of the time when I use these pictures there are limits as to the size in both inches and kilobits. My question is this, when I save the captured picture to let's say, My Documents file how can I tell the size of the picture (in inches and kb size) so I can know if I am within the guidelines for posting the picture. A good example of guidelines would be this very site, DDRHelp.com, this site requires all picture files to be 50kb or less. How do I check my picture for size, then how do I resize it to fit the site requirements? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
    Thank You,

  2. In explorer select view and detailed, the size will then be displayed. You can resize the image in any image editor, or apply more compression for jpeg example, I use paint shop pro for this.

Craig, thank you for the quick reply. I clicked on view in IE 6.0 but there is no "detailed" tab to click on or anything else under "view" that I could find that would tell me the size of the image, am I doing something wrong here. Thank you.
    Thank You,

Thats windows explorer, not Internet explorer.

If you are not familiar with it, "my computer" view has the same options.
