  1. I've just bought a new processor, motherboard & VGA card (P4 2.6GHz HT, Asus motherboard, Asus Radeon 128mb).
After install Win2000 Service Pack, I installed my old PowerDVD (which previously OK with my old computer, P2 300MHz).
But now the PDVD could not run when I click the Play button (error message window showed up and the PDVD closed).

    What is the problem ?
Do I have to install something? (I have installed DirectX 9)
    Or change some setting?
Or problem with DVD drive ?

    Thanks a lot!

  2. hmm..

    Have you loaded direct x 9b ?

Load the latest ATI drivers, disable surround sound if enabled and test
does it work? If so then upgrade your onboard/card sound software and
do a mainboard bios upgrade. If no then download a trial copy of winDVD player.. does it work? If yes then there might be an overlay problem; If no then check for viruses.
