Every once in a while my PC will power down then immediately turn itself back on. I then get this error report.

It happens about twice a day for the last few days.....any ideas???
    Thanks everyone.

  2. i did a quick search on google and it looks like your error might be zonealarm related.

Once and a while you say ..

Possible : Page File corruption OR memory (RAM module is bad)

Get a copy of Memtest86 to check ram modules.

Pulled from some obscure place in cyberspace. Fixing Page file.

    1) Disable Virtual Memory:
Right-click My Computer to view the System Properties dialog, click the
Advanced tab then the Settings button under Performance. Next, within the
Performance Options dialog click the Advanced tab then the Change button
under Virtual memory, make a note of the current Virtual Memory settings and
select the No paging file radio button, then click the Set button.
    2) Delete the paging file
Reboot your computer. Open an Explorer window, click Tools then Folder
Options. Click the View tab and select the Show hidden files and folders
radio button. Now look for a file named pagefile.sys on your c: drive (this
may be a different drive letter depending on your settings) and delete it.
You will receive a warning that pagefile.sys is a system file.
    3) Re-enable Virtual Memory
Right-click My Computer to view the System Properties dialog, click the
Advanced tab then the Settings button under Performance. Next, within the
Performance Options dialog click the Advanced tab then the Change button
under Virtual memory, at this stage restore the Virtual Memory settings you
made a note of in step 1, ensure that you click the Set button when
    finished.
    4) Reboot your computer.

  5. that could also refer to your hard disk..do a scandisk and check for errors.
Maybe re-installxp or check ide cables (unplug/and replug).

Thanks for the input lads....much appreciated.
I followed holistics stages and found that my virtual memory values were
    initial size = 144
    maximim size = 288
    whats up with that??? i got 512 ram on a 2.66 p4
Anyway i changed it to 766 and 1536 respectively and it has not done it since so hopefully its cured.
    Fingers crossed.
    Cheers guys.
