  1. I have been haveing some Sync issues, I recorded my files with a standalone DVD recorder (cyberhome), rip with dvd decrypter and author with both dvd lab and tmpge dvd author. And I often have a sync problem with longer recordings. I just tried something different. instead of useing the dvd author programs to make chapters I used womble to cut the Vob file into about 8 minute vobs and then used those for my source with tmpge dvd author. What I found is that even the last chapter had no noticeable sync loss. With the same source if i did everything with dvd author it is out of sync. After playing around I found something else, if the source vobs are only a minute long or so you can not tell when chapters change, but when the vobs are 8 minutes long when the dvd switches chapters it is noticeable..like a hiccup. So I have come to the conclussion that both DVD authoring program are doing something to cause the sync problems. And that with the 8 minute Vobs I notice the Chapter changes because the longer the Vobs the more pronounced problem is, even though lips and sound look ok it is not seamless. I wish I could find a way that it played flawlessly but this is better then when they looked like a dubbed movie. Any comments would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with TDA too. The source VOB are perfectly in a/v sync, but the final result (=DVD authored) is out-of-sync when the movie (or title) is long (~ 90+ min). No problem with 30 or 60min eps...
I haven't found a way to deal with it yet...
