Asian dvd player best buy??

I am currently in China and have access to a wide variety of DVD players. I am thinking of buying a second player for playing backups, home movies, mps etc. What in peoples opinion is the best Asian DVD player which will play all format types, minidvd etc. on a variety of media.

I am open to any suggestion

APEX is a cool DVD player. Lots and Lots have been wriiten about this. I think it will be cheaper than USA.

A daewoo 3000N also plays everything so does the Sampo's

Two large Chinese manufacturers that come to mind are Shinco and SAST.

Many of the players mentioned by others before would be an OEM of one of their models.

Thx for the replies. I have had a look at the local selection and good or bad it is huge.

The main ones I have found and are looking at are Hiteker, Shinco, SAST and Nintaus. Unfortunatly almost every player and every model in the range says it can play anything and everything.

I am leaning towards the Hiteker GK-810 r the next model down forget the name.

Anyone got any advise??
