When converting 4:3 to 16:9 in Tmpgenc...

...how much should I crop from the top and bottom? I've searched the forums as I thought I had seen it somewhere already, but could not find it.

My source has large black bars top and bottom, so it's not a problem cropping from them, I just want to know how much I should do it by to give the correct aspect. The current size is 360x240.

that size is near enough to NTSC (352 x 240 half D1) so you could crop using trial and error until the resultant test mpeg shows no bar if thats what you want. Does it look like 4:3 or 16:9 widescreen?
