ive been on this forum for a while, and ive been waiting to be accepted *more* by this community. Ive noticed that such peopel have erm things to go with them. Such as (i know im not spelling this right) Devanshu is known for faimily guy, Jeex is known for being an alaround funny idiot jerk, Tgpo is known for being the MAC man. What im trying to say is i wanna have a *thing*. So here goes. IM 14 years. i love computers and know quite a lot about em. I also love moviies, im a movie freek. Although the last two arent very unique, although i think im the youngest person here. SO here i am, The kid.

Yes i know this is a useless post.

I wouldn't consider it so. Besides, your not the only youngin' here.

I bet jeex will have something to add.

    Allow myself to introduce.......myself

14 huh. 9th grade? Somewhere around there?

  4. I don't think you are the youngest. I would seriously doubt there are no people less than 14 here.

Well, at least the maturity level of a 14 year old.

As for your *thing*, my advice is don't try and make one. Just be yourself.

I have been here awhile, and God only knows how some people view me.

Well, I see you have 69 posts...would you like to be the "69" guy?

Like solar said...be yourself and if you stick around here long enough, people will automatically associate you with "something". For instance, like you said, I'm a family guy...guy. I didnt come here with that tag, it developed on its own.

  8. A word of advice.

Don't be like me. Captain Schnitzel and his Bipolar Crewdogs is not the kind of moniker that will get you laid in school. Nor is Thermonuclear Nutcase. Nor is RAID-Boy. Nor is Indo-licker. Nor is...

    Just don't be like me.

Have you got friends in person near you?

Be yourself and your personality will come through in your comments. There are other things which are often subtle but provide clues to your identity.
You could change the "member" tag to something more appropriate like "the kid" or "just14" if that's what you want. Mind you if you choose something like the latter you will have to change it every year to keep up.
How about a nice avatar and/or signature that reflects your personality and sends some message about you.
Have you noticed that some users sign off as Will, Adam or George and people tend to remember that.
Try to become an expert in one area. For example and I'm not suggesting this but what if you learned all the forum rules and whenever someone crossed the line you quoted the rules. You would be a pain in the butt however we might start calling you the "RULE" guy. Now that (pain) job is already taken so don't try it but another example of this is Lordsmurf, have you noticed that ATI and Lordsmurf seem to go hand in hand.
Try to use new emoticons or include pics in your posts etc... It doesn't mean to copy others but look for different opportunities to express yourself.
Remember too that at 14 you don't mind being called "the kid" but at 18 you'll want to be "The Man" 8) especially in front of your friends.

  13. I'm probably quite unremarkable, really. I don't think I have an area of particular knowledge, until someone talks about bioscience. But then, this is a DVD forum, not a neurological or G-protein coupled cell signalling forum, is it?

Perhaps if I got into a few fights people might remember me. There's a good way, a bad way and the Jeex way!

I have no special skill either, apart from being friendly and polite to those who are of a similar disposition.
Despite reports to the contrary have a genuine desire to help and do what I can in the video forums.

I hope nobody (especially Will) was too offended by my posting last night. I was a little drunk after a trip to the local pub and what seemed like a good idea at the time, maybe in hindsight was not such a good thing. Maybe the computer should have a built in breathalyser, to stop people from saying too many things (that they don't really mean)

I've just been searching your recent posts to find something I might take offence to
