    hey, i just encoded a movie to xvid in virtual dub, and i converted the ac3 to ogg, now i just need to mux them together....any ideas anyone?

    You can use OGGmux to mux the avi and ogg together but that will create an OGM file. If you insist on using avi you're better of using Virtualdub to encode the audio to ogg using a wav input while using the xvid as the video source(direct stream copy).
