    I've recently purchased a sony rdr-gx7 dvd recorder but as im sure alot of you know it wont let me record dvd's, i was wondering if there is any way to bypass it ??

    It will not let you make a copy from commercial DVD ? Is that what you are trying to say ? Look for word "macrovision" in this forum.

    yeh i want to copy a regular dvd you buy in stores but when i try to it says cannot record signal and im trying to find a way to get around it??
