    Is there a big quality difference between the two. Is it worth paying the extra 20 bucks for the 100 pack of 4X if my dvd burner only burns at 2X. Will the 1X Ritek burn at 2X? I am referring to the Riteks on Rima.com

    quality wise - no diff..... only get the higher speed if your burner can use them ..

    I burn Ritek 1x discs at 2x (my NEC 1300A doesn't burn at 1x), and they work just fine. I'm referring to the matted discs. I haven't used the new shiny discs so that could be another story.
