    Hi,

    not really a video question. But how can I convert wma audio (a soundtrack) to mp3 audio?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hyperion seems a nice app, but gives me:
    "Error while opening file"
    on the destination file.
    Strange.

    ffmpegX0.09 works but isn't that easy to use, plus can't convert in batch mode.

    make sure you have NO SPACES or ILLEGAL CHARACTERS IN FILE PATH

    examples of bad paths

    MY HD/USERS/ME/DESKTOP/MY AUDIO FILES/AUDIOFILE(of soundtrack)-7/11/03.wma

    woah spaces shoudl be gone, ( - / are illegal characters. etc

    I presumed that it was indeed an illegal char, and renamed my wma to
    test.wma
    but first, Hyperion didn't let me select the file anymore, until I played it with mplayer once.
    After that, it begand decoding, but gave me this error:

    Stream #0.0: Audio: mp3, 44100 Hz, stereo, 192 kb/s
    Stream mapping:
    Stream #0.0 -> #0.0
    Warning, allocating 0 bytes
    Press [q] to stop encoding
    Error while decoding stream #0.0e= 191.9kbits/s
    size= 646kB time=27.6 bitrate= 191.9kbits/s

    It seems that Hyperion is scipping frames, because when you play the track, playback is way to fast.

    ffmpegX 0.0.9 convertion on this file is OK.
