I'm using ffmpegx for a long time, doing back-up of my DVDs as VCD, SVCD or differents kind of DIVX, without any problem.
I had recently an unusual error message while I was trying to transform a VOB file into a DIVX.
In the terminal, I had a "segmentation error".
After a lot of tests, I understood that the software was REFUSING my usual formats : 640 x 352 or 640 x 272 ! ! ! (I tried all the 3 different DIVX encoding).
But it seem to be happy if I was keeping a 720 x abc format or if I was trying a 624 x xyz one ! ! !
I reinstalled ffmpegx but it didn't change anything.
I'm using 0.09a on a PB G4 500 MhZ, with Jaguar 10.2.8 (the problem occured just after installing the last security update)
