Im haveing a problem with reauthoring dvd's. Here is what i have done.
I have a dishnetwork PVR that I recorded a movie that was about 3 hours long. I then recorded from that to dvd +R/W using a Cyberhome 1500 set top using 3 hour mode, that is 1/2 D1 i believe. When I play this recorded dvd on recorder,Computer or other DVD player all looks great. I Wanted nice menu's and such so I extracted Vob using DVD decrypter. Then tried creating dvd with Both DVD-lab and TMPGEnc DVD author. With both I had a noticable sync problem by the end of the movie. I then tried to Demux audio and video using TMPGEnc and used headache to change audio to MP2 format and then muxed together using wobble Mpeg wizard and tried to author using TMPGEnc DVD author. Again had audio sync issues. All above were burned using nero 6. On all cases I did not cut the Vob in anyway, just inserted chapter points. Any idea's where my audio sync problem is coming from? I have a little time left on my return policy for my cyberhome and would like to know if its the problem or something else.
