    I get this error when opening cdrwin, how can I make it initialize? brand new never been used SONY CRX160E/A1 Burner... Thanks in advance.

    PLEASE give us some info to work with.

    1. What OS? (being the most critical)
    2. Is this your first burner on this particular computer? (i.e. was there a different burner in it before your new one?)
    3. Do you have any other burning software installed?

    I'm gonna take a guess and say you have Win2000. No?

    If so, you MUST install the ASPI layer. (Do a search on google)
