  1. I have Piglets Big movie overhere.
    It's a 2-layer and I want 2 convert it 2 a single disc movie.
I know how 2 do a movie-only rip, I can re-encode and the things, but with this 1 I want 2 do something else.
The DVD starts with a Disney trailer with new movies.
I want 2 get that out.
After that, there is a language selection.
I want 2 get that out as well.
After that start the menu in the chosen language and that's the part I want to keep.
So what I want is everything after the languageselction.
There is also a DVD-Rom part on the DVD, but there is no problem in leaving that out.

What program's do I use (DVDstripper?, Nero-reencode?) and how do I do it?

    thnx

2 is a number and not a preposition.

Did you even try to read anything?

There's a number of programs you can use. DVDDecryptor/IFOEdit will work, but that's beyond your skillset. DVDDecrytptor/MenuEdit can do it also.

Disney movies are notoriously short, and if you remove all the extras usually run well under 4 GB. What purpose does a menu serve if you have dropped the subs/alternate audio?

  3. I have read a lot on this forum and it dazzles me.
    So many solutions.

    And why the menu's
Cause there are a lot of extra's on this dvd and I think I can fit al the extra's and the movie on a dvd.

The main reason I like to keep menus is for the Chapter selections. Not only can I jump to a certain chapter, I can know what the chapter's title is. This is great because, I'm too lazy to come up with a DVD case label with the chapter titles on them. All I do is slap a brief description hub label on them.

If I didn't have a visual chapter selection menu, then I would feel like I'm going back to VHS days.

Besides, when you're at a restuarant, would like to see a visual of what's on the menu or be verbally told what the menu is?
