  1. Hey people.
I hope someone here can help me! I've got an xvid, width is 592 and height 320 pixels, audio format is mpeg layer 3. I usually use moviefactory to burn my dvds but it can't handle the ratio, it makes everything go full screen from what people have told me i need to use TMPGEnc to convert it, does anyone know what settings i should be using??? it also seems to crash lots when i load my movie, is this a known fault or just me being a fool?

    Thanks

  2. mrfoo_uk,

Take a look at the third post, by Hooky. Set your TMPGEnc up like that, and it should cure the crashing problems.

When converting your XviD to DVD using TMPGEnc, you should have the source aspect ratio as 1:1 and in "Other Settings" under "Advanced", you should set the video arrange method to "Full Screen (Keep Aspect Ratio 2)". This is what I do and it seems to work.

    Hope this helps,

What's the difference between keep aspect ratio and keep aspect ratio 2?

  5. I have no idea - I'm sure there's only one way to keep an aspect! 2 has always worked, I have always used it....
