  1. Anybody know of a way to batch encode elementary streams (video only) using tmpgenc?

I'm trying to encode several avi files to mpeg2.

  2. dafreak,

I'm not sure what you want mean - do you want each input file to converted to an individual output file, or a load of input files to be automatically merged into one big output file?

If it's the former, then at the end of the wizard, you check the box that says "Create another project for batch encode". It will take you back to the start of the wizard and you can add another job. When you're done, check the box that says "Start encoding" and it will encode a batch of jobs.

If it's the latter, see the sixth "problem" down.

    Hope this helps,

  3. thanks cobra but i figured it out.

i just want to encode the avi's so the output is video only (without any audio); mainly so you end up with an m2v file for each video that i'm encoding.

i figured out that all you have to do is open up the avi in tmpegnc
-set it to encode in ES mode
-configure all the settings you want
-then go to file | add project to batch | mpeg and then enter the directory where you want it to be saved.
-it brings up the batch encode window with the project in it.
-repeat the steps for all the video files you want to encode
-click run in the batch encode window.

When you go through the wizard, it doesn't allow you to omit the audio part of the video you're trying to encode.
