This is driving me around the bin. Here's my story. I captured a 8 minute clip from my Hi-8 camcorder. I captured it in Mpeg-2 format. The mpeg works fine, except for the audio. It is a mono camera and as I didn't shut the right channel off during capture, I get loud fuzz out of that speaker, while the audio comes from the left. But that's okay, cuz I demultiplexed using tmpgenc, and then used Goldwave on the resulting mp2 in order to eliminate the fuzz and just copy the left channel on the right channel. I made a mistake at first that made the wav file twice as long, but I fixed that. Now I have an 8 minute mp2 file that is fine on WMP, I have an 8 minute wav file that also works fine with WMP. When I try using tmpgenc to remultiplex the two, the following happens. I can't use Mpeg tools, as it doesn't recognize the audio source. I then go to project wizard, load my template that works on everything I have ever used it for, load the audio and video files, and let it go. What I get is an mpg file that plays for 5:48, then the video freezes, while the audio continues to the end. Could someone please tell me what I could be doing wrong? Thank you.
