  1. Hello all,
I authored a dvd with two menu's and two movies. My first play is the first movie, really just a short intro clip. I want to be able to push the play button on the remote from either of my menu's and my intro clip, and the main movie starts from the beginning. Is there a way to do this in maestro. Ive looked all over and cannot find this . As it is now, pressing the play button does nothing.
    Thanks

hello arkosh, i have a few questions before i reply

so your first play is the 1st movie, then tha goes to one menu, correct?

when would the second muen come up?

well generally speaking seems like you just want an auto action, but thats just a guess, more info please...

Add a chapter point to the last 15 frames of your intro video, and set the end action to point to the movie. When the user hits next on the remote during the first play, it will skip to the movie.

    OR

Create your intro as a motion menu asset. On the motion menu create an invisible button, and set it to point to your movie. Be sure to adjust your subpicture opacity correctly, or the overlay will still show. This way, the button can't be seen, since it's the only button it is auto selected, and when the user presses play it will follow the set route.

  4. Thanks for replies,
The second menu is a scene selection and to get to it the viewer must hit my scene selection button from first menu.
I dont want the main movie to automatically play from my intro or either of my two menu's.
What I am looking for is how to program the disc so that from either menu(not from the intro at all) the veiwer just hits play on the remote(not a menu button) and the main movie starts.
I have a play button on the first menu, but thought that hitting play on the remote should just play the movie.
    Thanks for the help
