It was mentioned a few times in some guides here that VirtualDub doesn't demux AC3 properly and it is necessary to use BeSliced to fix AC3 before using it in DVD author. Is it old (fixed) problem? Do I need to do it with current Vdub version? What about VdubMod?
And also: what is better - to demux AC3 and then use BeSweet to convert it or use avi file as BeSweet input file and convert it directly from avi?
Thanks.

For ease of use I suggest VirtualDubMod for AC3 or any audio demultiplex.
http://virtualdubmod.sf.net
In "Streams" menu, choose Stream list, click on the audio stream and click on Demux button. Right?

Otherwise, try AC3Tool for AC3 convertsion/demultiplex...
