  2. Open ISO Buster, select File, Open Image File. Browse to your .dat file.

  3. i tried that the right click on the dat file after opening and click extract-> mp2/mpg only

it saved the file but when i went to my hardrive to check if it worked its file size was 0kb and the file didnt play in media player.

i tried this with three completely diffrent vcd dat files on my pc??

i then tried converting it to a cue file through isobuster...it worked but i dont know what to do with it now

ive done basic dvd rips and mpg conversion but not anything with bin/cue files

  4. Hi there, when i've got bin/cue files to edit, I use CloneCD or Alcohol to mount it as a virtual drive then use VCDeasy to extract the dat file to mpg. I can play this mpg in Mediaplayer and open it in tmpg if i want to re-encode it. If i've been given multiple bin/cue files for one movie; once i've extracted all the dat's, I use DVD2AVI to "add them together" and create a d2v file to open in tmpg. Hope that's of some help, Typhus

  5. It means the dat on the disk is corrupt. ISObuster just cant extract it.

  6. It's not recommended but you could change the .dat extension to .mpg, most encoders will accept it.
