  1. I just got an AIW card from ebay (it's the first gen. radeon AIW). The problem is that I can't get sound - the card did not come with the breakout box so I got another one from ebay.. I noticed that some break out boxes have a line out minijack that needs to be hooked up to my soundcard while the BOB that I got does not - is this the problem? Is there a way to work around this?

    Thanks!

if you have an extra analog cable like the one going from your cd drive to your sound card you can loop your cd through the aiw (cd in) and then to your sound card (cd out). it would be easier though if you had the cable with the mini plug. after you get the cables set up you will have to open mmc and run the initialization wizard and make sure you have the sound set up right (i.e. Cd in, line in , microphone...)

    good luck!

Hooking up the loop cable worked - thanks!
