  1. Hi folks
I used TMPGenc to split a move file (avi) for a vcd. Everthings perfect except that the sound isn't there?. I've done two files before this an no probs but for some reason this one has no sound. I've tried using the built in sound engine and also toolame, but no joy!
Here is some info of the file:
    0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3
    934 kb/s
    29.970 FPS
    137 kb/s (68/ch x 2 ch) VBR LAME3.92 Bitrate 48000 Hz
MPEG Layer-3 Decoder-->Morgan Stream Switcher Audio Codec
MPEG Layer-3 Decoder-->Morgan Stream Switcher Video Codec
    512 x 384 (1.333 : 1) Aspect XviD
    Many thanks for helping

Tmpeg will not encode mp3 sound. You need to save the audio as a wav file with Virtual dub. Open the avi in video and the wav in audio.
