  1. I've got Gods&General Dvd movie. And I used DVD Decrypter to ripped the movie VOB to Hard disk which takes up 9.7Gb with 12 vob files. Then I openned it up in DVDShrink, upon opening it stopped upon VTS_1_9.vob. At first I though there was something wrong with the file so I used VOBedit to demux vob id. Then I opened it up in DVDShrink again. But still DVDShrink just would not open VTS_1_9.vob. What is wrong with this vob ??? Any ideas???

  2. check if the VOB plays by itself in something like PowerDVD or WMP. If it does play fine, I would try making a new set of IFO and BUP files for the main movie only using IFOEdit. Downside is, you would loose your menus, upside is, you might be able to burn the thing

    Hope this helps,

  3. Read my post in this thread on DVD filename specifications.

It may be possible that DVD Shrink's algorithm only accepts up to 8 VTSs instead of 9.
