IMHO: I think its a great way to share digital images. I love it.

Nice photos ... But I think the music is copyrighted... and I would suspect you havent got permission to use it in a published work??

I've actually played pics/animations the size of your avatar on my TV (full screen) and there's no difference in quality than something full screen size.
One of many reasons I much prefer Vegas over Premiere
BTW, you can also do the same thing with freeware Screensaver programs (at least for PC and to share online)
and Microsoft has a program that does that for document presentations.
