Why Cant I print in colour??

Ok I got a lexmark z45 printer and im trying to print in colour. Only problem Is its not working? MY printer is detecting that the colour ink cartridge is full yet whenever I print something It oly prints the black and white... Could some1 please help me?

reasons are....
1. print settings are not set to color
2. your document doesnt have any color in it
3. your color ink cartridge may need cleaning..

run the set up and calibrate this will force the printer to print a test page with color and black and white...

I don't know the Lexmark cartridge, but with HP, many others, people have been known to forget to peel the clear tape off the printheads.

hmm... I bought a new colour ink cartridge and it works... but my printer was reporting ink level at 100% for the other one.. I hope its not an error like that Cause I would like to know how much colour ink i have left with my new cartridge. any1 know of like a 3rd party program that can check this for you?
