audio ac3 help please

I have a avi divx5 pro file with ac3 5 channel and when i use TMPgen to convert to dvd it gives no sound .

when i use mpeg main concept program it reduces the 5 chanel to stereo

what program can I use to get full 5 chanel , or what add on for tMPgen

Note that you don't have to encode the video again if you already have done that, just follow the first step in that guide and you will get an ac3 file. Then use tmpgenc dvd author and import your mpg and choose the ac3 sounds insted of the stereo sound.
