How to set Sony DVP-S360 region free?

Greetings all:
I have a Sony VDP-S360, and I bought some DVD in China with translations/subtitles in Chinese so my parents can watch them. But the player won't work, complaining about the region does not match. Can someone tell me how to set the region free in my player? I tried some charger manufacturer in Europe, but they said their charger is only for region 2 player. Does any one know of a charger for region 1 player? Is there any other way to set the region free in my player? I only found a secret code to display a diagnostic screen but not for region free and I believe there should have a secret code for region too.

Any suggestion/comments are much appreciated.

There's no remote hacking to make the DVP-S360 region free. Besides, the hardware hacking only permits 2 regions in this player (the native and another region).
