Hi,
I have TMPGEnc Plus and i was trying to convert from VCD to SVCD. I used VCDEasy to extract it to my hard drive and then i tried to load it in the Video box in TMPGEnc and this is the error i got. File "C:\Documents and Settings\Derek\Desktop\AVSEQ01.mpg" can not open, or unsupported. So i got instructions on how to repair it from https://www.videohelp.com/tmpgenc/
I used ISObuster to extract it separate from my desktop and use VCDGear. There are my settings for VCDGear and the error i got trying to repair it.
Undet the vcdgear tab: raw [ track image] -> dat
Fix MPEG errors checked
Load the extracted mpg file that ISObuster made and save a new name.
Here is the error i got with VCDgear trying to repair it: Could not locate MPEG stream.
Why couldn't i load the VCD in TMPGEnc Plus and why couldn't i repair it using VCDgear?? Thanx for any help.
