  5. Stick Linux on there for a change of scenery.

Overclock it, see how much power you can get out of it (but don't blow your PC up in the process).

get some photos of friends and family, then much about with them, put there heads on famous bodies, i put my best friends head on stephen hawkins body and made a littlle mp3 file using a program called sayit which makes you voice sound exactly like stephen hawkins. i then emailed it all to him and he thought it was great. he forwarded it to some people he knows and they loved it too.
i use adobe photoshop elements 2 so it has loads of options to play around with photos.

    Will,

No, but I'd like to. I found this quote while looking for lawyer jokes, in a list of quotes. I found this Googling:

    Franz Kafka's It's A Wonderful Life (Scotland, 1993)

Written and Directed by Peter Capaldi
    Produced by Ruth Kenley-Letts
Cast: Richard E. Grant, Phyllis Logan, Eileen McCallum
Running Time: 25 minutes Black & White
    Jane Balfour Films

Produced by BBC Scotland, and winner of an Oscar in 1993 for Best Live Action Short, Franz Kafka's It's A Wonderful Life utilizes the established talents of film and TV star Richard E. Grant to sustain a 25 minute joke which culminates in the surreal blending of Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis with the gooey sentimentality of Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life. This clever, closely written tale overflows with ironies, visual puns, dramatic turns and twists, and saves its unforeseen ending to the last possible minute. I quite like the saturated colour and edgy camera work of this production, and the cast is strong and natural. Grant is exceptionally good as the doubt-ridden, overwrought Kafka, and his final scene as the credits roll may put you off The Metamorphosis forever. All in all, a snappy little gem of post-modern filmmaking.

Love to see it. Maybe I'll just do a little looking around and see if it's available. Have you seen it? What did you think?

    What did I think?
    Put simply...
    ...it's stunning.
It's the most inventive peice of cinematography I've ever seen.
I've had friends watch it (they all hated it, my wife does too) but I don't care, I love it and plus, Richard E. Grant is in my top ten best actor list so a real bonus there.
Trouble is, you can't get it on DVD although I have seen it on VHS somewhere.
Where are you in the world?

    Will,

I'm in California, I haven't seen this anywhere here. No one I know has seen it either. But I can only imagine what you come up with when you mix Kafka/Capra together...

Maybe they might show something like this on IFC (Independent Film Channel), or Sundance Channel. It's not something that would be shown on a mainstream channel like HBO. I can check their schedule from time to time and see if it pops up. I have both of those channels (along with 400 other worthless channels) so if it appears I'll be sure to record it. There are no BBC channels on our cable system, except BBC America - nothing interesting on there at all.
