I'm getting a error msg when trying to use VirtualDub.

"Couldn't locate decompressor for format "dvsd" (unknown)
VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows(VFW) compatibile codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable".

Can anyone tell me what codec do I need to use this tool? I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

I used afonics guide to join avi files together using virtualdub but I got a runtime error. I'm testing to see if I can join 6 avi files together. Anyone ever joined more than 2 avi files together using virtualdub? Thanks in advance.
