  1. Hi, I just recorded a DV and output it to mpeg2 using CCE. I can see the mpeg2 video in powerDVD but can not rewind/reverse. Also in powerdvd, when I click on a specific part of the movie, it will fastward a little and then it will stop. Can anyone help?

    Welcome to DVDR Help sau2004.

Power DVD is a Software DVD player. Can you convert the MPG2 to DVD (RW) and try it in a stand alone DVD Player?

The problem may be your hardware and not the Mpg2. It is a good idea to fill out your Computer Hardware Specs in your profile. This would help others to diagnose the issue.

  3. Hi, I will try authoring the mpeg2 file to DVD. I used CCE VBR 4 pass for the dv-avi file and used 2000 for minimum bitrate, 4700 for average bitrate, and 9800 for max bitrate. I was thinking about some settings in CCE that I have to set in order to fix the problem. I didn't multiplex the audio into the mpeg2 file also, but I don't think that's the problem.

Does anyone have this problem when encoding the DV-avi file and then playing back the encoded file with a software DVD player?
