  1. I'm looking at the Sony DCR-TRV950. I want to sell my Sony DVD300. Will I see a huge difference in performance? Especially in low-light which is what I mainly shoot in?

I transfer my video using s-video to my dvd-recorder.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks!

  2. I am also considering buying a used VX2000 since I've read that it's much better in low light. I'll be doing mostly indoor video.

  3. I own a TRV950, and I am very happy with it. I am a college student, and I haven't been able to use it as much as I have wanted, but am happy with it so far.

One thing I would recommend, save up a couple hundred more, and buy a VX2000. They are cheaper now, casue they just put out the VX2100. The 2000 is an incredible camera, and I htink its better than the 950. I oculdn't save up the extra money, but if you can, get the VX2000.

I would also say that your in a bad price range. If you got 1500 then you need to get a few hundred more and get a vx2000 or if you want a smaller more portable get the dv-950.
