  1. I HAVE A PROBLEM. WHENEVER I USE VIRTUAL DUB TO TRY TO EXTRACT AUDIO FROM A FILE, I GET.........NO AUDIO DECOMPRESSOR COULD BE FOUND, TO DECOMPRESS THE SOURCE AUDIO FORMAT. NOW THIS ONLY HAPPENS WITH SOME FILES. HOW DO I FIX THIS LITTLE SITTUATION.

  3. it could be divx audio. Divx5 does not install thedivx 3 audio filter.

    install divx3 and you will prbably be fine. on another note: Gspot will tell you the codec I believe.

  5. guys, sorry but i'm back with a new problem. seems my pc died, and i had to build another from scratch. i'm trying to rip audio from a xvid file, but keep getting.........couldent locate decompresor for format xvid (unknown). virtualdub requires a video for windows (vfu) compatible codec to decompres video. direct show codec, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable.

  6. Isn't there a package around that just installs DivX audio without DivX 3 ;-)?

    Use Gspot or something similar to identify the audio or we're all shooting in the dark!

  7. kool fixed that. next is tmpg, it sais cant load p3p package.dll
    when i try to encode.
    how do i fix that.
    what gets me, is that i did not have this problem on my other pc.

  8. never mind.............i figured it out, i just had to copy p3p pacage.dll to system 32 folder.

  9. What up, i'm back with a new question. what can i use to record mpeg layer 3 files? i tried nero, but it tries to transcode, and that takes major hours, i gave up.
    any solutions?
