I HAVE A PROBLEM. WHENEVER I USE VIRTUAL DUB TO TRY TO EXTRACT AUDIO FROM A FILE, I GET.........NO AUDIO DECOMPRESSOR COULD BE FOUND, TO DECOMPRESS THE SOURCE AUDIO FORMAT. NOW THIS ONLY HAPPENS WITH SOME FILES. HOW DO I FIX THIS LITTLE SITTUATION.
THANXS FOR THE HELP..

guys, sorry but i'm back with a new problem. seems my pc died, and i had to build another from scratch. i'm trying to rip audio from a xvid file, but keep getting.........couldent locate decompresor for format xvid (unknown). virtualdub requires a video for windows (vfu) compatible codec to decompres video. direct show codec, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable.
what know?
thanks again!!! -
Isn't there a package around that just installs DivX audio without DivX 3 ;-)?
Use Gspot or something similar to identify the audio or we're all shooting in the dark! -
kool fixed that. next is tmpg, it sais cant load p3p package.dll
when i try to encode.
how do i fix that.
what gets me, is that i did not have this problem on my other pc.
thanks again!! -
never mind.............i figured it out, i just had to copy p3p pacage.dll to system 32 folder.
thanks though!!! -
What up, i'm back with a new question. what can i use to record mpeg layer 3 files? i tried nero, but it tries to transcode, and that takes major hours, i gave up.
