If you made a complete menu including text then you have to use EZCD. If it is a bitmap (bmp, jpg, gif) or animation/video (avi or mov) then you have to convert it to mpg. With EZCD, you can have multiple menus and startup videos.

If it is just a background image, then you can use Nero. Unfortunately, Nero doesn't support (that I can tell) animated menus. Nero also forces the text to be one of several fixed styles with non-removable header and/or footer lines.

  3. For real VCD authoring flexibility, you should get either VCDImager, VCD Toolkit, or VideoPack4.

  4. What I did was make a menu with TSCV and made the bin and cue file. I'm not sure How to get that and the movie I converted with tmpg to svcd burned together on the CD I have VCD imager at home I'll have to take a look at it if its possible to edit with it

Not sure if I need to convert the bin and cue before I burn it or something ?

    Thanks

  5. If your using TSCV you add the menu, MPEG/s, chapters, intro/extro MPEGs, etc. then make a bin/cue with all the data and burn it.

    Take a look at:

  6. Yes, that is the guide "Martini's" that I followed and its a good one too I might add. I made a starting menu and a chapter index going by the still menu guide. Nowhere does it say to add in where your video mpg is, so now I have a bin and a cue of the menus and also a mpg of the movie and am trying to find out how to combine them on a cd. I can use fireburner to burn the bin and cue but then how do I get the movie on there? Do I need another program or Is there a step I'm missing? Maybe the movie supposed to be included in the bin and cue? Anyone that can give me a clue please post, Ive been trying to figure out all these programs all week and have only made 1 cd so far. hehe I'll be searching the forums again like last night =P

  7. Doh, I think I figured it out. I'm supposed to be entering the Movie under the chapter index before making the bin

    Thanks for the help

  8. Well the problem now is when the sound loops, the still menu expands in size and shrinks back after the sound starts. Is there something that I can do about that?

  9. im happy you figured that you

yeah, my suggesiton is to use blank audio

i never had that problem so i dont know, try no audio or blank audio

(you can encode your mpv from tscv in tmpgenc as a "system (video only)" file

    lemme know

  10. Actually, I was able to fix that as well after looking on ttools website. What I did was increase loop wait time from 1 to 1.5 Now I just have to get these damn screen sizes right I've tried 704 X 480 and 352 X 240 with the menus encoded in svcd and vcd not coming out right though :/
