Here's my question, How can I import a text menu that offers info. such as Phone #, directions, Names etc. to be seen before the moive is viewed. The standard menu option that dvd and vcd apps have avalible, don't allow very much space for the amount of text I want present on my menu page. Can someone help me out![]()

I think the easiest way would be to create an image in the paint program of your choice (Paint Shop Pro, for example). Make sure it's the proper resolution for your format. Add the text you want and save the image. Encode to an MPEG (should only take a couple of seconds). After that, add it as a first play in your authoring app.
If you want it to play as an intro directly into the movie, merge the MPEG with the movie prior to authoring.
Anyone with other solutions, feel free to jump right in. -
If I merge it with my movie, how do I get it to be displayed before the movie
-
Merge it at the beginning with the movie at the end. You will end up with one file.

Build in Windows Movie Maker 2, then join it at the beginning of the movie or make it the first play option if your authoring software supports it.
