Hey I used to run a lot of Cats. I ran D-8 Dozers, 980 Loaders, 245 Excavators and various other equipment made by Cat or had Cat engines. Caterpillar is number one as far as I'm concerned.
Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........

My parents were both school teachers. My dad taught all the 7th-8th graders that no one else could handle. Dang what a great teacher he was.

My mom taught 2nd-4th graders. She didn't want a kid that had it's own mind or she couldn't control

They both taught kids for over 28 years+ each

What did they get when they retired?
Dad got a $50 fishing pole
Mom got a going away part with no gift from her district office
tgpo famous MAC commercial, You be the judge?

    Sweet.

My mom still teaches high school, been doing that since the 1970's. She's teaching here in AZ and collecting a full retirement from NM.

My dad was a college professor; he did his 25 and retired in his 40's.

Niether of them got jack-shit when they retired. And, just to show you the disparity in public education, mom made more in her first year of full-time teaching in AZ that she made in her 25th year in NM.
